How to use the dust cleaning sound
- Disconnect Bluetooth headphones or external speakers.
- Set a strong volume without obvious distortion.
- Start Deep Clean and let all six stages play through (~48 seconds).
- Tell us if it improved: Quick Blast or the speaker test comes next.
What to check for a muffled speaker
Muffled audio can come from pocket lint, dust at the grille, settings or damage. A sound cycle cannot identify or fix every cause. If your phone got wet, see Water Eject first. Also check the obvious: a case lip over the grille, or audio routed to a Bluetooth device.
Deep Clean FAQ
What frequencies does Deep Clean use?
Six stages — 200, 350, 500, 750, 1000 and 1500 Hz, eight seconds each. These create different vibration patterns; they do not detect dirt or confirm that a blockage has cleared.
Will it remove dust from inside my speaker?
Sound cannot reliably remove packed dust or lint. If the opening is blocked, follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions and don't push objects into the grille. Also check whether your case covers the speaker.
Water Eject or Deep Clean — which first?
If the phone got wet recently, run Water Eject first. For muffled audio with no known water exposure, start with Deep Clean.
